Awwal Sani Baballiya is a multi-disciplinary professional that culminates from engineering to public health, health policy, healthcare care financing and health system strengthening and has a over 20 years of cumulative experience in various capacities. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director/CEO of Songhai Health Trust Limited in September, 2017, Mr. Baballiya served as Health Insurance Specialist with the United States Department of Health and Human Services in Washington DC, where he served as Principal Advisor and Manager of private health insurance issuers in the states of Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois and Maine, created through the Affordable Care Act also known as Obama Care.
Mr. Baballiya served as a Program Supervisor with the City of St Louis Department of Health as well as member of Washington University Institutional Review Board.
He is a Health Policy Fellow with the state of Missouri House of Representatives, USA.
Mr. Baballiya is an Alumni of World Bank Institute Washington DC, where he received training in Results Based Health Care Financing. He is a graduate of St Louis University USA where he obtained a masters degree in Public Health (MPH) in the year 2008 and a graduate of Odessa Civil Engineering Institute, where he obtained both bachelors and masters degree in Civil Engineering in 1989.
Dr. Ukeka is a 1988 Medical graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is also a chartered insurer. He has 27 years’ experience in General Medical Practice and 8 years’ experience in Health Insurance/ Healthcare Management in executive management position. He also has an MBA from the Commonwealth School of Learning, fellowship Academy of Healthcare Management as well as fellow Health Insurance Advanced Studies. Dr. Ukeka worked as the Regional Manager in International Health Management Services Limited HMO and Managing Director, Precious Healthcare limited HMO between 2007 and 2014. Prior to joining Songhai Health Trust Limited GM (Operations), he was Principal Consultant, Healthcare Business Support Systems.

Joseph Ajulo holds an NCE (T) Accounting with Distinctions from the Federal College of Education (Tech.) Akoka Lagos in 1992, a B.Sc (Hons.) Degree in Accounting with Second Class Upper in year 2000 from the University of Ado Ekiti and an MBA from the same University in 2002. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant(ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1997 and became a Fellow (FCA)of the Institute in 2011.He is also an assessor of the Professional Examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Mr. Ajulo has had varied work experience in Audit, Consulting, Financial Control, Telecomms and Health Insurance spanning over 20 years. He is the Founder of First Fountain Consulting, a firm of Financial, Tax and Management Consulting. He was an Executive Director with Allied HMO Ltd between 2009 and September 2016. He is currently the GM (Finance & Administration) of Songhai Health Trust Ltd Abuja. He is married with children.

A 2003, graduate of ObafemiAwolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has distinguished himself in the field of Health Insurance and he is currently the SeniorManager, Quality Assurance in our organization.
Senior Manager, Marketing
A 1998 microbiology graduate of Bayero University Kano and a holder of Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Ilorin 2006 and Masters in Health Management, from Benue State University, Makurdi. He has vast experience in the Pharmaceutical industries where he started his career as Medical Sales Representative with Jawa International Limited in 2002 and rose to the position of Business Manager Northwest Region in 2009. He also worked with Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals as Senior Medical Representative Kano. Mr Hamza also served as the Network /Marketing Manager (Northwest) with Royal Exchange Healthcare Limited, a leading Health Maintenance Organization in Nigeria before joining Songhai Health Trust Limited as Senior Manager, Marketing in 2012. He is a member Institute of Health Insurance and Managed Care of Nigeria.
Zonal Manager Operations Lagos Zonal Office
He is a 1993 Geography graduate from University of Ilorin. He obtained an MBA and higher certificate in Computer Studies from Bayero University Kano in the year 2005. He worked with Essay Holdings as Graduate Trainee and with its subsidiaries (FOTOTEK IND LTD) as Customer liaison Officer, Kaduna branch. In July 2005, he joined Absolute Group Nigeria Ltd, as the General Manager (Marketing) the position he held till October 2006, when he joined Songhai Health Trust Ltd. He is presently the Zonal Manager Operations in our Lagos Zonal Office.
A 2002 Master’s Graduate of Banking & Finance; also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from the same institution, a certified member of the Institute of Public Accountant of Nigeria. MallamNasiru has a vast knowledge of Health insurance with 5 years working experience from National Health Insurance Scheme before joining SHTL. He currently serves as the Manager, Administration.
Zonal Manager (Marketing) Kaduna Zonal Office
Tokzaka M. Danjuma is an MBA Graduate of Marketing from AbubakarTafawaBalewa University Bauchi. He is also a 1990 Graduate of Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He had earlier obtained a Diploma in Insurance in the year 1987 from the same University.
Since graduation, Mr. Tokzaka has worked in several organizations among which are, Nigeria Industrial Development Bank Ltd (Leasing Company Of Nigeria Ltd) where he headed different Departments. He also worked with Nigeria Agricultural Cooperative And Rural Development Bank LTD where he headed different Branches across the Country. He had a stint with Guinea Insurance Company plc after his NYSC with Nigerian Army Welfare Insurance Scheme Lagos. Mr. Tokzaka has attended several Management courses, workshops and seminar. He currently serves as the Zonal Manager (Marketing) in our Kaduna Zonal Office.

Alhaji Farouk Ahmad Buhari: He is a 1988 Economic graduate from Bayero University, Kano. He worked in several establishments. In 2002, he joined Roshash Consults, as Director, the position he held till 2011, when he joined Songhai Health Trust Ltd. He is presently the Zonal Manager (Marketing) in our Kano Zonal Office.
Senior Manager (ICT)
He is a 1997 graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin. He has undergone training in Computer Designs, Software installation and Development, Network design and Implementation on windows 3.x, windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, Servers, windows XP and other higher windows operating systems. Highly experienced; having worked as training Manager with Global Systems Contact and Business/technical consultant – Digiview Digital Surveillance, Head of Programming with Mapinfotel Limited and Head of NOC operations with Aswani Networks Limited, Abuja before joining Songhai Health Insurance as Head of ICT.
Assistant Manager Finance and Accounts
A 2009 graduate of Accounting from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.An Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He worked with the Board of Internal Revenue Service, Zamfara State and also Accounting and Auditing Firm. He is currently working with SHTL serving as Assistant Manager Finance and Accounts.
Deputy Manager, Quality Assurance
He obtained his M.B.BS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 2010.He has 4 years post qualification experience as a Doctor in various hospitals, both government and private health organizations. He also has 2 years’ experience as a quality assurance manager in the health insurance industry. He has worked with Ultimate Health Management Services as Medical & Quality Assurance Manager. He currently serves as the Deputy Manager, Quality Assurance with Songhai Health Insurance Ltd.
Assistant Manager, Human Resources Unit
Obtained Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Administration from The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 2002, and postgraduate diploma in Public Administration from LAUTECH 2009 and Master’s degree in Business Administration from same institution in 2012. She is also an Associate Member Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). She worked with Guardian Trust Insurance Company Ltd before joining Songhai Health Trust Ltd and presently she is Assistant Manager, Human Resources Unit.
